ACONITI, Prepared (Chinese: 制草乌 Zhi Cao Wu)

Zhi Cao Wu belongs to the herb category: Herbs that Warm the Interior and Expel Cold. It is acrid, bitter, hot, and toxic. It dispels wind, diperses cold, and stops pain due to cold. It can be applied topically for muscoloskeletal pain due to either rheumatism or trauma. Unless directed by a professional we advise using this herb topically only.

Packets can be taken singley or combined with other herbs to make a formula. Use one packet to four cups water. Drink 1-3 cups per day. Please consult Chinese Herbal Medicine: Materia Medica, 3rd Ed.
