Cordyceps 冬虫夏草

Cordyceps (Chinese: dong chong xia cao) This famous tonic herb is used by Chinese athletes to improve performance. The Chinese name Dong Chong Xia Cao translates as "winter worm, summer grass". Cordyceps is a fungus that grows on a caterpiller body when the caterpiller dies. Also good for problems such as low sex drive, weak lower back, chronic cough, and lung problems. Tonifies both yin and yang. Can be added to stews to improve the nutritional value. Safe for long term use. Research shows it can increase platelets. Use 2-3 capsules, 1-3 times per day.
