Charred Fructus Crataegi is the preferred form of Fructus Crataegi to be used for improving digestion and eliminating stagnated food in the treatment of dyspepsia and stagnation of fatty food. It is also used to help stop diarrhea. Dyspepsia is not a disease but symptomatic of other diseases or disorders. It is characterized by vague abdominal discomfort, a sense of fullness after eating, heartburn, nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite.

Packets can be taken singley or combined with other herbs to make a formula. Use one packet to four cups water. Drink 1-3 cups per day.
