Polygonati Odorati, Rhizoma (Chinese: yu zhu; English: Solomon's seal) nourishes yin and soothes dryness. It is considered a gentle, harmonious tonic. Use for cough, dry throat, irritability, and thirst. Polygonati is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to restore sexual potency and promote fertility and as a nutrient tonic for malnutrition and other conditions of severe energy depletion. It is safe to use regularly. Use 9-15 grams in four cups water.
