COICIS, Semen (Fried) (Chinese: 炒薏苡仁 Chao Yi Yi Ren)

It has slight diuretic properties, alleviating edema and invigorating spleen without consuming genuine qi and the actions are similar to the actions of Poria. It is usually combined with Poria, Atractylodes, and Astragalus to strengthen the actions of tonifying qi, invigorating spleen, inducing diuresis and alleviating edema.

Size: 10 gm

Packets can be taken singly or combined with other herbs to make a formula. Use one packet to four cups water. Drink 1-3 cups per day.
